Text Resources Resume (doc): professional resume in word format Student Ministry Handbook(pdf): This book was designed and created to inform, equip and train staff, volunteers and parents with the ministry strategy of our student ministry. I typically use the handbook for training sessions and one-on-one meetings with volunteers to help them improve in specific areas. Essentials (pdf): This book was designed to help students develop regular quiet time habits while learning about the five essential components of a vibrant spiritual life that our ministry teaches. The materials were bound in three-ring binder with a cover custom designed by each student. Each binder came with a CD of additional resources and tools for enhancing their quiet times. This resource was most often used to launch new small groups. A World (Wide Web) Apart (doc): We compiled a large amount of statistics, trends, tips and resources concerning teen usage of the internet into a seminar for parents by the same name. This is a copy of the notes and outline for the seminar complete with resources and web-links. MP3 Messages The Privilege of Fatherhood: This stand-alone message was given on Father’s Day 2007 at Horizon Community Church in our believers service. This is a good sound bite of what I am really passionate about. Deuteronomy: This message was the fifth message in a overview series on the Pentateuch given to the adult believer community at Horizon Community Church. The Trinity: This was the second message in a four week Horizon Student Ministry series titled “ID” where we celebrated the diversity in each person, the Trinity, our local church and the universal church. Tough Love: This message was given to CREW, the Horizon middle school ministry. “Tough love” was the final message in our “Lovestory” series where we also talked about God’s love, parents’ love, friendship love and romantic love. Blogs I write The Parent Track: Designed to encourage and equip parents with a Biblical understanding of parenting. Crash Sight: Weekly advanced post of our student ministry messages for volunteer feedback and students who cannot make our ministry. |
