PROFILE:              Ten year student ministry veteran with extensive experience leading large ministries, events and efforts, overseeing multiple staff and broad volunteer groups, writing and implementing vision, strategy and curriculum and a wide range of teaching experiences both within and outside of the church.

EXPERIENCE:            Leadership:

· Shepherd approximately 200 students through MS & HS purpose driven growth and outreach ministries

· Recruit, equip, nurture & empower volunteer teams of over 30 for regular student ministry to students and families

· Leadership of up to 4 full time staff members including hiring, performance plans, training and reviews.

· Planning & execution of monthly outreach and community events for 12 – 100+ students

· Equip & train student servant teams: drama, worship, set-up/clean-up, welcome teams

· International/domestic Trip leadership: groups ranging from 20 to 300+ for the purpose of outreach & missions

· Management of annual budget over $200k

 

Teaching Roles

· 12 + years weekly expository & topical teaching in large group (100+) student ministry setting

· 8 years quarterly expository or topical teaching to adult communities (between 100 – 800 adults)

 

Discipleship & Growth

· Oversee weekly volunteer led small group programs through curriculum selection, training & implementation

· Develop & implement a 12 week confirmation/indoctrination program incorporating volunteer lead small group component

· One-on-one discipleship of students at each level of growth and commitment

· Personal leadership of 2 weekly groups

 

Resource Development

· Wrote & produced 60+ page Student Ministry Handbook for training and equipping  volunteers through mission, vision, strategy and effective student ministry leadership including small group leadership, student contact work, discipleship and discipline policies.

· 5+ years of catalogued series content including video, drama, worship & outlines.

· 12 week confirmation program incorporating weekly reading, scripture memory, small groups & large group teaching

· Verse by verse Biblical book studies for daily/regular student devotion through various NT books.

· Various policies including; discipline, sexual education & the church, student ministry ethics & values

Para-church & community Ministry

· First Priority of America – 4 years leadership of 2+ campus clubs, contributions toward network events to 2000+ students

· Young Life – 2 years of Monthly Club & campaigners leadership, summer camp participation with local campus club

· HS soccer coaching – 4+ years of coaching involvement for the purpose of connecting with target students, engaging the          community & parents and earning credibility and access on campus with faculty and staff.
